Technology
The sequencing laboratory
Once stabilized, the salivary sample is analyzed in a worldwide center of excellence. During this procedure, the genetic heritage is extracted and duplicated thousands of times through a process called PCR (Polymerase Chain Reaction). The sample is then processed using an SNP's chip (single nucleotide variation chip). The data obtained at this point is a file containing the positions of the genes and the corresponding base pairs (Adenine, Thymine, Guanine, Cytosine).

Once our research team has obtained your DNA, it uses a proprietary algorithm to interrogate the main genetic libraries in order to study, predict and extrapolate the impacts of mutations on metabolism and on the development of diseases. All the correlations that we find have a solid theoretical basis and are supported by articles and publications in the most authoritative scientific journals.
