General

I agree that this service is educational and consists of information found in published research and other sources of information; and that the resulting report cannot be used for the diagnosis of any disease or medical condition.

MyGenHome srl reports are for educational purposes only and should not be used as a substitute for diagnostic or medical therapy activities.

The data reported are constantly subjected to scrutiny by the scientific community, therefore they could undergo variations over time. The purpose of MyGenHome srl will be to keep the databases used for reporting updated.

Data processing

I agree to send the salivary sample to MyGenHome srl or its technical partner in order to: extract, amplify and sequence the DNA contained in it.

I agree that the persons (internal or third party) who develop and maintain this system and the various networks and computer systems on which it is running can view the submitted data and resulting materials as necessary to carry out their activities.

I agree that if I am uploading someone else's data, I have received that person's permission to do so.

I agree that if I am a healthcare provider submitting patient data, I do not associate it with a person's name or other information classified as sensitive healthcare information under the GDPR.

I accept that my data is stored and processed on the servers of MyGenHome srl and its partners for the sole purpose of creating reports.

I accept that MyGenHome srl keeps the genetic reports relating to sequencing on its servers. The raw data, therefore the sequenced file, devoid of any interpretation, will not be stored on any server, but will be made available to the purchaser only with prior authorization for sending.

MyGenHome srl will apply the following procedures:

Genetic data, once received from the partners it uses and in particular from Ancestry Ireland Unlimited Company, are deleted from the web immediately after downloading.

To ensure data privacy and until a particular report and its data have been deleted, they are stored in our system with an association with an alias of the person who uploaded the data.

MyGenHome users are responsible for downloading, storing and protecting the reports received.
